Next week, Nathanael Letchford from NI will be visiting our area. He is on Steve Summers’ LabVIEW marketing team in Austin, and oversees a new pilot program called NI Badges. NI Badges will offer learning pathways and recognition for developers in parallel to the Certification program. There will be more granular exams on specific topics, and achievements can be shared via digital badges (e.g. LinkedIn).
NI wants to take advantage of Nathanael’s visit to open up this topic for feedback from the broader LabVIEW community, and also give people a chance to re-connect.
Come join Nathanael and Justin for a Happy Hour event next Tuesday October 3rd from 7pm-9pm at the Aloft Hotel bar in the Redmond. NI will provide a couple rounds of beverages and snacks to accompany the discussion.
This is not a formal user group meeting but I hope to discuss plans for future upcoming meetings with those who can make it on Tuesday.
