scxi communication with DAQmx

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I have a problem to communicate with an SCXI-1540 module.

In MAX I see the module and I've set in the "Data neighborhood" a NI-DAQmx task to reed the volts on the input.

I see a standard value of 5,38V even if I change the input.

Did I miss a setting?

Hello,

Can you provide us with some more information about the issue you are encountering?

The things I'm most interested in are:

- A MAX Report that shows the software that is installed:

- The explicit task you're using:

- Screenshots of the steps you're taking:

This will show me exactly how we should try to reproduce it.

Hello Fluppe,

I was quite surprised to see only a USB-6009 showing up in MAX and no mentioning of an SCXI chassis.

How does your system set-up look like? (what hardware do you have, how is it connected with eachother,...)

Hi people

I have a similiar problem, with scxi-1000 and scxi-1520 and scxi-1600.

A few months ago I worked with it and it works good.

Some days ago, I tryed to connect it again but it detects the scxi-1000 but never detects the other modules.

I have LB2010 and same Max.

Why this happend? I try in other pc and gives the same error.

I tryed to add manually the configuration for the boards, but nothing.

Can someone help me with this problem?

Best regards

CPalha

I'm mentioning this because the SCXI-1600 is not supported under all OS-versions (only under 64 bit):

So please also provide me with the OS version you're using.

Hello cpalha,

I think you might have misunderstood me:

I asked for the DAQmx version, not the MAX version.

An easy way to retrieve your NI software versions is the following approach:
