saving iq data to disk without using LabView / SignalExpress / Measurement Studio

Hi,

I'm quite new to NI, so please don't be to harsh if I ask stupid questions.

I'm working with 5663E Signal Analyser and my first task is to find out how to save IQ-data.

For a whole week I was reading through a lot software descriptions and forums posts and I got some impressions. But to make sure I have to ask now directly.

my questions are:

Is it possible to save IQ-sata from signal analyser by using the MAX or RFSA only?

Can we do this without using LabVIEW / Signal Express / Measurement Studio?

By the way  I'm also not completely sure if this is the right forum for my questions. But it seems the one which fits the best. I apologize in the case of posting in the incorrect forum.

Hi Christian!

It is possible to export IQ data directly from the RFSA Soft Front Panel.

First change the mode to IQ:  Edit >> Switch Mode >> Switch to IQ Mode

Second export the acquired signal: File >> Export

The exported signal has the file extension .lvm (LabVIEW Measurment File), but is a standard ASCII file.

You can open the file with any text editor.
