pxi register based communication

Can someone tell me where I can find more details about register based communication with PXI? I am new in working with PXI and I am trying to develop an application. I have connected to the PXI instruments by using VISA in MAX but when I arrived at the point of sending commands to the PXI I got stuck because I don't have documentation about the registers and address spaces that PXI uses.

Hey Tudor,

Can you give me some more information on your system? What kind of PXI modules and chassis do you have? OS? How are you trying to write to the registers? Also, here is a tutorial that might help you out.
