pxi 8195 system state: unconfigured

Dear Community,

on start up the real time pc pxi 1042 with a pxi 8195 controller don´t start the RT-Model. The screen shows the following message:

(the pc doesn´t have a operating system because it is only used for the RT-Model)

Hi,

First of all, welcome to NI Forum!

You can find a detailed guide how to setup your PXI system with your Realtime system here:

That screen your see is just a console which returns events on the pxi. In your case it says your pxi is unconfigured.

You can't create mouse and keyboard events on a Realtime system because that would mean your system is no more deterministic.

Therefor all configuration and programming is done on a host pc, which connects to the pxi and deploys your programming.
