I am new to the system and have been tasked with determining the source of an issue. We have a PXI Chassis with PXI-2570, PXI-2586, PXI-2569, PXI-6071E, PXI-4070, and PXI-8196 running Windows XP. The system had previously been functioning properly. I am now seeing the self test fail for the PXI-4070 with error 1003. The actual measurements that we are using seem to be working properly.
Is this error likely correctable via calibration procedures, or does this speak to a hardware failure in the PXI-4070? I am guessing that based on the fact that it still seems to take proper measurements, that this is either a calibration problem, or a failure in a aspect that our tests are not using.
I beleive this is the description for the problem, but I cannot seem to locate a more verbose description: NIDMM_VAL_WAVEFORM_VOLTAGE (1003) "Waveform voltage"
