Hi Alan,
It sounds as if you don't have the Modulation Toolkit installed for your LabVIEW Development Environment. The MT get attributes.vi your software is looking for is only installed or present on the system if the Modulation Toolkit has been installed. Verified this by going to Start menu>>Control Panel>>Add and Remove Programs. Select National Instruments Software and click Change/Remove. Scroll through the list that appears and verify you have the LabVIEW Modulation Toolkit installed and let me know.
This toolkit is licensed and required a purchased serial number for use but you can use it for 30 days as a trial from this link.
Thanks,
DPratt

Hey Alan,
First off I would recommend upgrading to the latest version 4.1, especially if you're using LabVIEW 2009. However, if the Modulation Toolkit is already installed, I'm assuming it installed properly because you are seeing the appropriate options in your pallette. When the prompt comes up looking for specific files, I would suggest noting what file and what directory it is looking for and navigate to that directly manually to see if the file exists. If it doesn't, more than likely the file can be found in a different directoy.
For example, if it was looking for MT Get Attributes.vi in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\vi.lib\addons\Modulation\niScope but I didn't have LabVIEW 8.5 on my machine, this directory wouldn't exist. Therefore, I could redirect the search to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2009\vi.lib\addons\Modulation\niScope whenever prompted to let it know my files are located elsewhere.
Please let me know if this helps any.
Thanks,
DavidP
