grabber usb composite labview

I'm new here.

I'm trying to connect my ccd camera

using LEADTEK WINFAST VC 100 U

but I get information that "the settings for this camera are not valid"

so what can i do. My inside notebook camera works but when i'm trying to use video grabber   it doesn't work. Any suggestions ?

I have few questions for you that will help me to completely understand your problem.

Where exactly do you get error "the settings for this camera are not valid"? Can you also clarify what exactly does it mean "My inside notebook camera works but when i'm trying to use video grabber   it doesn't work."  Which video grabber are you trying to use?

Are any of those cameras recognized in MAX? What kind of drivers you have installed on your computer?

I have also noticed that you posted one more question with the same topic with the subject "how to connect camera ccd using tv card " so I would suggest that we do all communication through this forum post.

I've got error in NI VISION ASSISTANT when i try to use option "acquire image (usb):..." 

I see my tv card and grabber but when i click on video grabber  i got error (mark on blue).

If i click on SAA7139 (green color) - my tv card , there is no error but i see black or  dotted black-white

screen. 

Using programs and drivers to tv camera and video grabber everythings work's. 

I'm trying to use video grabber:

The second post is about connect tv card because i have also tv card so if someone have idea how to cennect with labview PCI tv card, i will go this way and leave video grabber.

inside notebook camera mean's - camera installed in notebook . In poland we say Inside camera on camera installed inside something and outside camera on camera connected with pc or notebook by wire but camera is separated in casin 🙂

Hi,

First of all, can which version of LV you use?  It seems to me that my "vision acquisition express.vi" looks bit different then yours.

Did you set image acquisition parameters (video and image settings) accordingly to specification of your camera? Which parameters are you able to set for your camera?

i use NI Vision Assistant version 8.6.0. I have got labview 8.6 version.

I can set parameters only if i click on SAA7130. WinFast is not available because of error.

I can set in image setting for tv card :

Hi Franjo.

Finally I connect my  camera using TV CARD. What I must to do? 

1.  get file ImaqDirectShowDll.dll witch changes for polish windows system because there was conflict beetwen English version of labview and polish system. One solutione is to change that file in  c:/windows/system32/  or second solution (worst for me) to setup english version of windows.

2. always at first start od windows i must Start program to tv card and after that i see camera image in labview. my friend have had the same problem 1 year ago.

But now I have another problem.  I made simply program to capture video and make a photo.

when i use resolution 320x240 image that i get look's like this:

when resolution is 720x567

BUT in VISION ASSISTANT it look's better using 720x567 resolution:

Is this problem with image distortion happening only when you move your hand or all the time?!
