couldn't detect PXIe 1085 via PCIe-8381

Hi,

we have PXIe-1085 with PXIe-8381 connected to PCIe-8381 (inserted in PC motherboard PCIe slot x16) via MXI Express x8 Cable. for the software I have LabVIEW 2016 (32bit), NI MAX and we try with Windows 10 x64, Windows 7 x64 and Windows 7 x32. the PXI Driver is V17.  BIOS compatibility software

we followed  the NI PXIe-1085 Series User Manual and http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/373681a.pdf

according to the manual our setup procedure was:

1. Shut down and disconnect power cable of PC and PXI

2. Connect PCIe-8381 to an X8 slot or higher . x16 slot was used in our case

3. Connect PXIe-8381 to PXIe-1085 slot no.1

4. Connect PCIe-8381 to PXIe-8381 with the MXI X8 cable

5- Connect Power

6. Run PC. PXIe-1085 was run eventually.

after that we couldn't detect the PXIe-1085 in MAX

after that we do this steps

First, PCIe-1085 run before power on PC then we power on the PC.

also wasn't help us and we couldn't see the PXIe-1085 in MAX.

all that steps was made with different operating system

1. Windows 10 x64

2. Windows 7  x64

3. Windows 7  x32

we also installed BIOS compatibility software, it didn't help us too much.

Is there any suggestion or solution for this problem?

PXI is based on PCI.  And PC devices must be detected at bootup.  Therefore, the PXIe chassis must be connected and turned on before the computer is turned on.
