compatibility of PXI 5412 with cPCI chassis

Hi all

Can i use PXI 5412/5413 arbitrary waveform generator with cPCI chassis (e.g. adlinktech cPCIS 2633 chassis)?

 Hello Asim,

 This is a great question. Any cPCI device may be used in any PXI Chassis. It is important to note that you will not be able to route triggers and clocks through the backplane. More information can be found here.

Thanks for help. Is same true for PXIe devices also like PXIe 5413? I asked that because the reference you directed only mentions PXI devices compatibility with cPCI chassis.

 No, the cPCI/PXI architecture is fundamentally different from PXIe and devices that are PXIe would not be compatible.
