Trying to update PXIe-8840 quad core BIOS, not working

Grabbed several version of 8840 BIOS from here:

None have working. Made the bootable USB using the included EXE. Tried several different USB drives of various brands.

Configured boot order in current PXI BIOS (2.0.2). Only the USB UEFI is a boot option, all others are disabled. PXI tries to boot to the BIOS updater and immediately goes to BIOS settings.

Same behavior regardless of BIOS version downloaded.

The utility executable included in the download does not create a USB which the PXI will actually boot from.

I had to us Rufus (https://rufus.ie/en/) to first create a bootable USB drive with FreeDOS on it, and then manually copy over some of the files from the NI download.
