I would like put together a system with NI components that can measure the voltage on up to 500 different signals. I have limited bandwidth needs (10 MHz would be acceptable). I see that there is a 1x196 Multplexer (NI PXI/PXIe-2575) which I could use in conjunction with an SMU. However, I have more than 196 voltages to measure, so is there a recommended combination of multiplexers/SMUs to get to a larger number of channels?

Are you trying to source a voltage (and/or current) or do you just need to measure the voltage? If you are just measuring the voltage, I would use a bunch of DAQ boards. Start by having a look at the PXIe-6375. It boasts 208 single ended analog inputs that you can read from. Three of those and you are up to 624 channels.

I just need to measure voltage. I will take a look at the 6375. Thank you!

I am also trying to measure voltage of 80-channel at a time using PXI-6225 for sensor applications (ion selective electrodes/electrochemical sensors). Basically, I want to measure potential change in each channel against one reference electrode (Ag/AgCl). Can you suggest me an example of software that makes my work easier and I can use and/or modify it? I don't have any experience in Labview, unfortunately.
I attached the images of the instrument and card.
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello,
I see you started this thread already.
