Reuse of old NI system

Dears at NI

I am requesting your assistance regarding the following.

I have a DAQ system from your side based on the following hardware

  • 3 x SCXI-1127 Multiplexers
  •  4065 6 ½ Digit DMM
  • Chassis SCXI-1000
  • SCXI-1331 Terminal Block
  • LabVIEW 8.6

The software for this DAQ is lost so I want to know how to re-use this system for example:

  • What is the suitable hardware and operating system requirement for the PC.
  • What is the drivers needed to be installed to operate the system.
  • Tutorials to build a LabVIEW testing program based on this hardware.
  • Which part needed to be calibrated and what is the cost of calibration.

Thank you very much in advance for the support.

Best Regards

Correction, though you've addressed your post to NI, but this query will be 99.99% tended by fellow NI product users and we in no way represent NI.

The good news is DAQmx 19.0 supports your SCXI chassis and devices but the bad news is starting 19.1 support was dropped.

This means you can install this even on a Win10 PC with DAQmx 19.0, accompanied with LabVIEW 2019 and other 19 versions of drivers. Out of the HW you've listed, 4065 DMM would require calibration.

In order to communicate with the SCXI system, you need a PCI-DAQ control card, do you also have it? and is the DMM USB based?

I am completely new to SCXI and guiding you based on my extensive experience with PXI products and going by articles published by NI. Some articles I would recommend you to read to familiarize yourself about the hardware you've,

Thank you very much for the reply, my DMM is a card connected directly to the motherboard and the system is already working so I think it's complete.
