Hello,
I'm searching a resolver card (for a motor control) in order to stimulate and acquire signal from a resolver. I have a PXIe 1071 chassis and a PXI 8135.
I've find a PXI format card (cp 3000 series 3U compact PCI/PXI from CCC).
I wonder if i buy the card, it will be compatible with the chassis ? Is the "PXI format", even not from NI, compatible with every kind of NI PXI ?

Hello,
You must to ensure that you third pxi card support VISA as mentioned in this post.

We use a couple of cPCI cards in our PXI chassis that are NOT compatible with VISA. They would show up as either blank slots in NI-Max or some very basic description. You will need to work with the supplier's API or DLL in order to incorporate their functionality into your program. Ask them if they have made any LabVIEW drivers or vi's to ease the process.
We happen to use an older cPCI resolver card from North Atlantic Industries which is one of the cards not compatible with VISA.
