I am currently trying to connect to the serial port on the PXI 8106 via RS232. However, when I try to run the Open Test VI for COM1 through MAX (PXI remotely) running on a PC, I received an error as below :
Return status code: 0xBFFF00A8
Status name: VI_ERROR_NPERMISSION
Access to the resource or remote machine is denied. This is due to lack of sufficient privileges for the current user or machine.
At the moment I am just doing a loopback testing just to ensure that the device interface is working fine before running my labview code. I am not sure what the problem is exactly, if it has got to do with the PXI or the computer itself. Could you please suggest some solutions to this matter?
