Part Number on module vs. Part Number online

Solved!
Go to solution

Dear all,

at the moment we have to catalogue the PXI- modules are using in our Lab. Unfortuately the part numbers on the device label e.g. PXI-4071 Digital Mulitmeter (PN:191485N-02L) is completely different than the one in the National Instruments shop (PN: 778271-01).

In the meantime we found out that this is the case for all our modules.

All the PNs on the modul labels start with a "1". The PNs online always start with a "7".

Does anyone know why this is the case?

Thanks in advance 🙂

The part numbers you see online are for our shipping kits. The kits include whatever hardware you're buying, plus user manuals, spec sheets, and other accessories that come with the kit.

The part number you see on the module itself is the part number for that individual component (which will get put into the kit, which has it's own part number).
