PXIe-6739 Bit Voltage

PXIe-6739 is a 16-bit analog output module. It has 65536 steps. I would like to know whether it can output 5mV. I looked at its user manual for its VREF, but cannot find a VREF value or its bit voltage. Bit voltage = VREF / 65536. Can someone please help?

Best regards,

Lu Tan

In cases where you couldn't find the Vref, look for the output range as that translates to the Vref.

In this case, looking at 6739 datasheet

+/-10V is mapped to 0-65535

This works your resolution to 20V / 65535 = 305uV per LSB.

But, this is not enough, you need to look at the accuracy specs too,

When you generate 5mV, the actual could be 5+/-3mV (considering offset error being larger)
