PXIe-6738 and SCB-68a Compatability

Hi,

We're currently using the PXIe-6738 hooked up to a PXIe-1078 Chassis. The 6738 Card is connected to an SCB-68a DAQ Device. As far as I know, the 6738 supports 32 AO Channels but the SCB-68a only has 2 AO channels. Is there any way that we could utilize the other AO channels from the PXIe-6738 or is the SCB-68a not the best choice to use with it.

As per the description of SCB 68A, it is compatible with 6738

  • Shielded I/O connector block for 68-pin NI X, M, E, B, S, and R Series DAQ devices

Please refer the below document on the pinout for 6738
