PXIe-4464 repeatability

Hi Everyone.

I saw on PXIe-4464 specifications that its gain accuracy is +/-0.03 dB

(http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/376165b.pdf , page 4).

I do not if I got this right, but for example, if I measure a pulse with 18 mV. As a linear gain, 0.03 dB = 10^(0.03/20) = 1,0034598. Therefore, I might measure +/-1,0034598 * 18 mV = +/- 18,0623 mV. Is that right?

Secondly (and more important!): Let's suppose that this 18 mV that I am measuring does not change at all. Which repeatability may I expect from the measurements with the PXIe-4464? How do I get this information from the PXIe-4464 specifications?

Thank you.

Hello!

The absolute accuracy of the PXIe-4464 module will be a more accurate representation of the signal you might read. This value can be calculated in part with the gain amplitude accuracy you mentioned.

We don't have an exact specification for repeatability but we would expect that as long as you don't have any environmental changes, readings you take should not drastically change.
