PXIe-4353

Solved!

Hello!

Im using the PXIE-4353 with the terminal block TB-4353. Because there are special thermocouples connected I have to measure the thermal voltage.

Now i need the cold-junction temperature... Is there any way to read out the thermistor(s) with LabView ? (like a normal thermocouple channel)

Thanks!

Hello,

maybe the following link is useful for you:

http://forums.ni.com/t5/forums/replypage/board-id/270/message-id/9522

There is shown a diagramm where the temperature is assigned to the resistance of general thermistors.

Another link, which contains good information, to the topic is the following:

hope this helps

best regards

Stefan

Hi IWTT,

You can acquire from the PXIe-4353's cold junction sensors by adding the physical channels PXI1Slot3/_cjtemp0:7 to your task using the Analog Input >> More >> Temperature Built-In Sensor channel type. Here's an example program demonstrating this:

DAQmx Acquire CJC Temperature
