PXIe-4138

Solved!

Hello everybody,

I'm going through the PXIe-4138 datasheet, and I the detail that marked in the attached pic.

Is this a real precaution? If I try to source current without warm up, what is the worse case that can occur?

Any explanation  will be welcomed.

Thank you in advance.

Hi ArtB83,

The thirty minute warm up is to reduce thermal uncertainty. We have it listed for most of our devices and have tested out our accuracy rating with a 30 minute warm up time.

I suspect that if you didn't warm up the device for thirty minutes that it would reflect different accuracy measurements but it has not been tested by our systems so I wouldn't be able to confirm for sure.

Well, if you suggest to take the warm up period and to preserve accuracy - I am fine with that. 🙂 Thank you for the support.
