On the PXIe 2531 matrix, I noticed that there is a maximum voltage of 60VDC, but the datasheet is not clear as to why. Where does this number come from?
The 60V limit might potentially come from the Reed Relays used at the crosspoints. Exposing the reed relays to high voltage or current will shorten the lifespan.
