I am trying to troubleshoot a problem with our PXIe-1085 chassis. We utilize a PXIe-8370 controller. When applying power, the LED's on both the chassis and controller are blinking red, however whenever the inhibit mode selector switch is toggled to the "manual" mode, the chassis powers on as normal. I've swapped out the controller with a known good PXIe-8370 controller, however the fault remained. Lastly, all other PXI cards are removed.
Are there any other troubleshooting steps that I can take before requesting a repair for the chassis? I'm assuming the power supply is good since it powers on normal in "manual" mode. Also, in the brief moment before the LED blinks red in the fail mode, the voltages were measured at the voltage monitor port and all measured as expected.
