Is there a way to passthrough all NI PXIe-1065/1078 cards (DAQs, SMU PXI-4130, PXI-8360) to a virtual machine using virtualization systems?
I tried VirtualBox 6.0 (host Ubuntu 16.04,7, guest Windows 10), VMWare ESXi 7.0.2b (guest Windows 10), ProxMox VE 7.0 (guest Windows 10). All these virtualization tools allows to access only DAQ cards. The self-test for them in NI MAX ( 5.4.0f0 ) is successful. Adding PXI-4130 provoke error and the self-test ends with an error "-201427 occured at Self-Test. The specified device is not supported within the NI-DAQmx API". PXI-8360 generally breaks the virtual machine when added.
Has anyone had a similar situation and can share their experience?
