PXI

Hello,

I would like to use an NI PXIe-5644 Vector Signal Transceiver in a Keysight M9018a PXIe chassis with Keysight M9036a controller.  Has anyone done this?  Will I be able to setup the NI VST?

Thanks,  John Reyland

Hi John,

Personally, I have not setup a VST in a Keysight chassis, however, I do know that they conform to the PXI standard, so theoretically you should be able to install the necessary software/drivers onto the controller and communicate with the VST as expected. One caveat may be using the PXI backplane to control triggers and routing signals. I'm not familiar with how Keysight configures their PXI backplane, but if you need to communicate with the backplane, this is definitely something to consider. Hope this helps.
