PXI 8433/4 Half Duplex Help

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I have PXI 8433/4 Half Duplex card on my chassis. However, I don't know how to use it. I'm aware that I can read its COM port, but what if I want to read the line bit bit? I'm truely confused with this. My overall goal is to communicate with the FPGA card which is plugged into the same chassis.

Regards..

The purpose of PXI-8433 board is to provide the PXI system with RS-422/485 port and nothing else. Why do you want it to communicate with your FPGA board? Does your FPGA board provide RS-422/485 connection?
