Here's the software on MAX "My System" :

Side problem, is there any real documentation out there regarding the RTOS for this controller, I mean, is the unaccessible prompt after "Welcome to LabVIEW Real-Time 8.2 NI-VISA Server 4.0 started successfully " the working prompt? I have zero RTOS experience but would expect the system to be very unambiguous in letting me know I am ready to begin working with it.

Any help that does not include a NI KB/tutorial or link would be appreciated since I have exhausted all of NI's documents. Thank you for your help.

Update:

Well I haven't solved the problem but am working up a scheme to. After seeing a lot of discussion regarding the correct order in which drivers and RT Module must be installed I've decided to delete all my drivers and reinstall. And specifically for this reason; a week before I received the PXI system I got NI's latest driver update pack (Labview 8.2.1, etc.) in the mail and had installed everything on it before I got the PXI system. I think there might be a lot of disconnect regarding all the different versions of drivers, etc. that have since been installed after digesting all the documentation and CDs that came with the PXI system. Stay tuned.

Thread Closed,

PXI system successfully configured. I guess it makes sense for a complex system to require a very diligent driver installation process in order for it to work. Now off to the shredder with all these out of date driver CDs that came with it.

I have a feeling I will be turning to this forum many more times in the near future so stay tuned.
