Hi,
I have a following problem. I use two PXIe computers equipped with PXI 8133 controllers. Till today I used small 17 inch displays with relatively low resolution. Today I replaced those displays with brand new Samsungs S22B360. Both new displays offer full HD resolution. The problem is that the first PXI unit offers full HD resolution but I cannot use it - screen is unstable (image is vibrating). In the second unit I even cannot change choose full HD resolution, the maximum is 1600x1200 pixels.
I've read that those controllers can display a maximum of 2048x1536 pixels at 75 Hz :

So where can be the problem?

Hi bikekowal,
did you try to upgrade to newest drivers and BIOS on this PXIs? Information how to update it is in the PXIe-8133 manual http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/websearch/BAAF36409C8AEABA86257A3D006381F6 , pages 4-5 and 4-6, where are also links to web pages where you can download it. And do you use analog or digital signal from DVI? Do the monitors work correctly when connected to a different output signal?
Please send me information about the progress and if there is another information you would like to tell, do not hesitate to post it. Thank you.
Best regards
Martin

I have BIOS v 1.1.0f0, and according to the manual I should go to ftp.ni.com/pxi. Unfortunately there is no PXIe 8133 files in this place. I used google, and what appeared to me is:

But this is the same BIOS version I already have installed in my controller.
I downloaded new graphics drivers before sending this post here, and it didn't help. I also checked this display with another PC - it works properly. I tried connecting another full HD display to 8133 controller, and still the maximum resolution is 1600 x 1200.
I use analog connection, this display has ony HDMI and VGA inputs. I could use HDMI, but I don't have a proper cable at the moment.

Hi bikekowal,
please try to upgrade to the newest BIOS version 1.2.0 available at http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/3003/lang/en . Also you should check if digital connection works or not to determine if this problem of BIOS or analog transfer.
Best regards

Before upgrading BIOS - I borrowed a DVI cable and DVI-HDMI converter. It works with proper resolution. All I need to do is to buy a cable.
