PXI 6542

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi

I was trying to use static generation provided in the examples section for PXI 6542 to write values to first 20 channels. When I was giving the value in the channel list as "0-15", the respective channels were driven to "high" as expected. However, if I mention the value in the channel list as "0-20", channels 16-20 are not driven "high". Could someone please help me in fixing this issue? How should I assign channels in static generation mode?

Thanks!

Hello testough,

The examples inside of NI example finder for static generation have a channel mask input.  This by default is set for channel 0-15.  If you are wanting to have channels 0-20 generate data you will need to update the channel mask to be 0x1FFFFF (a 1 for every channel).

I hope this helps
