Hello guys,
I want to use PXI-6515 DIO card to use its sinking output in a 3.3V device. The thing is (as the attached image shows) I would need a 5V supply to drive the output which I don't have. The reason I want this particular card is because I want to use it also to communicate with PLC logic (24V) on seperate blocks.
My question is: will this card have any problem with sinking 3.3V logic signal that is normally pulled-up to Vcc=3.3V ? I see there is a 'voltage regulator' inside the card which pretty much makes no sense in SINKING output, and if it wasn't there, I wouldn't have to ask this question.
Please advise!
