I hadn't used the system in about a month, and came to find both of my PXI 5122 and 5152 cards stopped working at the same time, reporting
Error -239021 occured at Self-Test
Possible Reasons:
Internal Hardware Error occured in MIG hardware.
(with
Chasis: PXI-1000B
Controller: PXI-8330
)
Does this typically indicate that repairs are necessary?
Thanks,
Ben

Hi bbentelin,
Error -239021 usually indicates that some piece of hardware failed. Do you have other PXI modules in your chassis (besides the 5122 and 5152)? If you are able to isolate this problem to the 5122 and 5152, try swapping module slots or even testing the module in another chassis system if that is an option.
If all of these fail, I would send your module in for repair.
Customers can obtain RMA numbers by contacting National Instruments online or by phone at (866) ASK-MYNI or (866) 275-6964..

I've tried reinstalling them one by one and in different slots. Unfortunately at the moment I just have one chassis and two modules.
Thanks for the reply,
I'll look into repairs.

Yea it could be the chassis or the cards at this point. See if you can get with your sales rep and borrow a chassis for a few days to test.
Otherwise, RMA will be the best route.
