PXI-2571, PXI-2720( Code 12 )

Hello,

I am setting the system with

1. Chassis : NI PXIe-1062Q

2. MXI express card : NI PXIe-8360 (In my Notebook computer :  8360 card, OS: windows 7

3. PXI card installed : PXI 2720(slot2), PXIe-6341(slot3- it is working), PXI-2571(slot 5), PXI-8430(Slot6), PXI-8433/2(Slot7)

When we checked the device manager, we can see the following error messages for each device:

"This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)

If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. "

And we noticed the 10 PCI-to-PCI birdges under Sysetm Devices.

Could you help us they are working properly?

Thank you,

momo

Hi momo,

What NI software do you have installed on your machine? If you could do the following it may help:

In MAX go to Help>>System Information

Click the "Copy All" button and paste it as a response here.

I would be interested to see what versions of the various hardware drivers you have installed.

Also, would it also be possible to get a snapshot of your Windows Device Manager?

Additionally, try running this utility: http://www.ni.com/download/mxi-express-bios-compatibility-software-1.5/3764/en/

Some googling on Microsoft's Code 12 leads me to think it may be a motherboard BIOS issue with your laptop and the PXI equipment. The utility above helps check compatibility.
