Good afternoon,
I am working to design a hybrid board for the PXI-1095 chassis. This board will only require +5V from the chassis, which I plan to get from the JP1 connector that connects into the back plane. I am finding it difficult to find the proper documentation that describes the appropriate pin-out and dimensions of the footprint I'll need to put on the board for the JP1 connector.
I found the PXI Express Hardware Specification documentation, and think table 4-12 describes the pinout information I need (can someone confirm that this is accurate, this documentation is from 2005).
Where can I find the dimensions for the footprint I'll need?
Any help that you can provide is greatly appreciated!

Hi David,
The most current revision of the PXI-5 spec (which covers PXI Express) is from 2018.

With that in mind, though, what I think you really need is the CompactPCI Express specifications. This spec actually covers the mechanical dimensions that you'll need to know. The PXI-5 spec draws heavily on the compactPCI Express specification and references it throughout.
The CompactPCI Express (cPCI Express) specification needs to be purchased from PCIMG. It's not available for free.

If you're going to be making your own board, I'd highly recommend you purchase the cPCI Express spec.
