PXI-1042 Intermittent Power Supply Issues

Solved!
Go to solution

My PXI-1042 chassis will not power on. It was fine a couple of years ago I am
told. It appears that the power supply has gone bad. The p/s fan does not even
come on. Is it possible to purchase a replacement shuttle, and if so, where? If not, does anyone have a suggestion, other than buying a brand new chassis? The task I will be performing is so simple that I can do what I need to do with a Raspberry Pi, but that is not acceptable in this environment.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You can purchase a new power shuttle for the PXI-1042 using this link and clicking VIEW ACCESSORIES.

The NI PXI-1042 POWER SUPPLY SHUTTLE USER GUIDE walks through how to replace the power shuttle of your chassis.
