Dear colleagues!
Please help me, I didn't understand, with an empty and serviceable PXI-1031 the fan should work or not? In other words, not working fan with an empty PXI-1031 is talking about that PXI-1031 should be sent for repair?
The PXI-1031 is working with PXI-8106RT and I don't know what exactly caused the fault - 1031 or 8106.

Hello,
The fan should be working with or without modules inside it. Does it not move even with the high fan speed? If this is the case you can either send it in for repair or fix it with a fan replacement kit.

Thank you for your reply dear Marina!
Fan movement is in any condition. Does it mean that a falt is located in PXI-8106 ?
Tell me please what can replace outdated PXI-8106 ?

Hello,
Without the PXI-8106 does the fan move in your PXI-1031 when you set the speed to high? Or is it only when you have your PXI-8106 in the chassis that the fan will not move?
If you are thinking about purchasing a new controller I would call into our Sales Engineers. They have the skills and tools to help you spec out a new system, their number to call is (888) 280-7645.

Fan has moving in the case with PXI-8106. Actually we localized the problem today!
We found a faulty memory module in PXI-8106. Module size is 1024 MB. Almost 9 years of continuous operation 24/7 were not wasted. Now chassis and PXI-8106 is running. Thank you and me 🙂
