What does you event viewer log files show? Are there any specific errors or warnings in there? Have you reviewed this KnowledgeBase and tried the corrective actions in there?

Why Do I Get a Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) Database Connection Error?

What happens if you connect the MXI-4 to a chassis that is powered on? Does that change anything when you're opening MAX? Do you have another computer that you can try this MXI-4 on? Or do you have an additional MXI-4 that you can try on this same computer?

You might want to also provide us with these files if you can:

""What happens if you connect the MXI-4 to a chassis that is powered on? Does that change anything when you're opening MAX?""

MAX still crashes ...same screenshots, but there are four additional error files generated in the Log folder (Attached 1~3).
