I have an issue with the detection of PXIe system in PC through MXI-8360 interface.
The scenario is as follows:
We have an Industrial PC with windows 7 and interfaced with PXIe through MXI. We are using LabVIEW 2013 and updated drivers. The system is working fine.
In the process of upgrading the systems we have decided to upgrade the system to Windows 10 and LabVIEW 2018.
We have replaced the hard disk of the IPC with updated Windows-10 and LabVIEW 2018.
We are not able to identify the PXI system in PC with new updated Windows 10 and LabVIEW 2018.
Trouble shooting activities done from our side to resolve the issue:
All the NI Device drivers are installed (2018 Device drivers MAX 18.5)
PXI Platform services updated,
Verified the running status of PXI Platform services in Windows services,
If we install NI MXI BIOS campatibility drivers, the PC is not Booting with PXI conncted(in both the modes)
At any point if we replace the drive with Windows 7 Drive, we are able see the PXI system and able to use it.
The NI SM Bus controller not visible in Deveice manager. The NI PXI system not detected in Device manager.
