NI MAX cannot detect my chassis PXI-1033 and PXI-4071 module

Solved!

Hello everyone,

I'm using a Windows 7 SP1 system with a PCIe-8361 card installed.

Previously it worked very well. But now MAX cannot detect my chassis PXI-1033 and PXI-4017.

I already reinstall PXI Platform Services ver16.0. But still cannot.

On PCIe-8361, The Host Link led is ON, The Link cable led is OFF when turning on my PC.

On PXI-1033 chassis, the Link Led is solid ON.

I attack some picture as follows:

Pls!!! help to solve my problem!!!

Did you get a new system?

What version of Windows are you running?

Did you install the drivers if you upgraded?

Give us more information. What changed from when it was working from when it is now not working?

You did not give enough information for us to help you with.

Does the device show up in NI Max?

Can you do a self test if it does?

I give some information as follows:
1. Did you get a new system?
This is the old one. I did not change the hardware

2. What version of Windows are you running?
I use Window 7 SP1 64bit (6.1, Build 7601)

3. Did you install the drivers if you upgraded?
Actually, I only reinstalled PXI Platform Services ver16.0 to solve my problem. I don't know what drivers need to install because I don't have NI Driver CD.

4. What changed from when it was working from when it is now not working?
Before, in the configuration tree, MAX detected my chassis PXI-1033 but could not detect PXI-4017 (A red cross appears before the name of PXI-4017).
After that, I had replaced CMOS battery in my PC and reinstalled PXI Platform Services ver16.0. Now, MAX only detects PCIe-8361 card.

I already change a new computer but it still can not work.

5. Does the device show up in NI Max?
Now, In NI MAX only show up PCIe-8361 card.
On PCIe-8361, The Host Link led is ON, The Link cable led is OFF when turning on my PC.
On PXI-1033 chassis, the Link Led is solid ON.

Thank for your support. Pls! help me to solve this problem.70876070_453079351965465_5834570294018179072_n.jpg

3. Did you install the drivers if you upgraded?
Actually, I only reinstalled PXI Platform Services ver16.0 to solve my problem. I don't know what drivers need to install because I don't have NI Driver CD.

You can go to the NI website and download the drivers for your PXI system. I would try uninstalling the PXI drive and reinstalling it again to see if that helps with you problem. Leave the PXI plugged in while you are doing this.

You might also check to see if there are upgrades in NI Max that you can download. That option is in the top menu bar under help. Have the system check for upgrade. If that does not help reinstall the PXI driver.

Thank for your help!

I followed your instructions but MAX still cannot detect my system. Maybe I have a problem with hardware chassis.
