Hi,
I am using FlexRIO with a NI 5734 Digitizer on a NI 7862R FPGA.
Since some days the input of all 4 ADC's shows an uncommon behaviour.
If I connect a square wave signal to any of the inputs, the signal is distorted like in the attached picture.
I checked the signal also with another oscilloscope, cables and waveform generator. It seems to be a hardware problem...
Has anybody an idea?
Yours,
Chris

Found the solution!!
It was the AC coupling... you can configure it with user commands.
See the example: NI5734 - Clock Select (FPGA)

Following on from this problem, I believe I have a similar problem with the gain setting of the NI 5734 module.
The documentation I have found states that it is software configurable but I cannot find anywhere that tells you how to configure it.
Any guidance would be hugely appreciated.
Regards,
Phil.

Hi Phil,
I think this should help:
https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-15799/version/4
I recommend you to use the NI FelxRIO Instrument Development Library.
Best Regards

regarding ni5734 , I have a problem when I connect a voltage source to ni5734 and an oscilloscope simultaneously. In this case the voltage reading on oscope drops ( almost by 50%). It seems that it is due to high impedance in oscilloscope and low (50ohms) in NI5734. Does anybody know what should I do about this?
