Solved!

Hi,

I'm looking for the match connector to P1 or P2 connectors on 1042 backplane. (3U)

(I want to take out power supply of 12V to my tested unit - considering power supply limitations)

Does anyone know the manufactor P/N of it?

thanks...

Hi easo,

Can you explain what you mean by 'Match connector' to P1 and P2?  It appears you are looking to probe the 12V line?  Here is what google had to say about 'pxi match connector':

These are not posted by National Instruments.  However, in the PXI-1042 manual, these are also listed.  check pages 45-50.

Hi,

I know about that pinout. i wanted the connectors part number so i could match an opposing connector to one of them (those connectors are male, i need the match female connector)

The main reason i'm doing this is because i want to to supply 12V to an external unit using the PXI power supply

(max 1.5A. I allowed to used up to 4A).

You can use an Erni Type A J1 connector (such as 354142) to match P1 ("J" is the socket side that matches "P" male connectors, so "J1" mates with "P1", "J2" mates with "P2").
