MAX doesn't recognize PXI-1033 or FPGA

Hello,

I'm trying to connect my laptop to my FPGA(PXI-7954R) which is in the Chassis PXI-1033. The laptop is connected via expresscard to the PXI-1033. The problem is that sometimes after booting the MAX will recognize them and Labview will run all programs fine and sometimes after booting LabView will give me an error and the FPGA will not be listed in MAX. I've tried booting with Expresscard plugged in, I've tried booting without and then login with Expresscard plugged in, I've tried booting completely without Expresscard and then plugging it in. Usually I succeed after a few tries, but this time nothing seems to work.

I've attached the Error, a screenings of the MAX and a screenshot of the device manager.

How can I force MAX to recognize the FPGA?

Thanks

Matthias

Hello,

what laptop model are you using?

I'm assuming you are using the NI ExpressCard-8360 to connect the chassis.

Did you try downloading the MXI-Express BIOS Compatibility Software 1.5? Pay attention to the Readme since you will need to configure the ExpressCard.
