I need to find a DOS level network driver (NDIS2) for the PXI815xb Ethernet controller. This driver does not appear to be on the driver disk or hard drive of the PXI chassis.
This floppy has the SMC9000 driver, correct? I need to find the NDIS2 driver for the PXI-8210 (SCSI/Ethernet) module. According to Windows Device Manager, this is using a Symbios Logic s53c885 chipset (which is also being shown for the SCSI controller). I have tried the SMC9000 driver and it has failed to work for this application. Is there another NDIS2 ethernet driver for the s53c885 chipset?
There is no DOS driver for the ethernet portion of the 8210 card. If you are using the PXI-8156B, you can use the ethernet portion of that controller under DOS. Also, you can use the ethernet controller on either the PXI-8211 or PXI-8212 under DOS. I hope this helps.
