I have a PXI-8196 controller that currently has Windows XP on it. Is this unit compatible with Windows 7 64 bit OS?

Hello stro1rob,
Due to the limitations of the hardware used in the controller (especially the processor) the PXI-8196 will not support the Windows 7 64-bit OS.

Thanks for the information. I will have to keep that unit as a backup with XP on it.
