Dear Sir / Mdm,
I had recently purchase a NI PXIe-1083 chasis.
I would like to know if the interface has to be using Thunderbolt 3.
This is because, the Industrial PC that I used is not able to support Thunderbolt interface.
Appreciate your suggestion to resolve the issue.
Thanks and Best Regards.

Yes, it has to be Thunderbolt 3, because that is what the chassis hardware was designed to work with.

Unfortunately, you have to either get another PXI chassis without the Thunderbolt 3 interface or get another PC with a Thunderbolt 3 interface (most scenarios after-market Thunderbolt 3 cards don't function as good as the one comes on the motherboard)
