Dear all, I have a problem with a PXI 1042Q.
The PXI is driven by a 8336-MXI4 and there are also some other boards like 4472.
It is impossible to switch off the PXI, the only way is to disconnect the power supply.
I open the chassis, the anterior switch with led seems to be ok, but if I put it on the OFF position nothing changes.
Could be a problem of the main board or the power supply?Do you have any other suggestion?
Thank you.

Hi Andrea,
can you switch off the PXI 1042Q without controller and MXI bridge connected?

Can you also confirm that there is nothing connected to the DB9 on the back of the chassis? Specifically pin 5.
