Identifying chassis and embedded controller in MAX. Modules identified but chassis and controller are not.

Hello,

I am trying to configure the following in MAX.

PXIe-1082 Chassis

Slot 1 - PXIe-8880 Embedded Controller

Slot 2 - PXIe-4309

Slot 3 - PXIe-4464

.

This is my first time using an embedded controller.  My expectation was to see it like any other chassis I've used. I'd see the chassis, expand to see the controller, expand again to see the modules.

What's happening is my trigger is not being recognized (error 89125) and I suspect maybe the MAX configuration is not correct. The error states "No registered trigger lines could be found between the devices in the route. If you have a PXI chassis, identify it correctly in MAX" ect ect. Any help would be appreciated!

I have attached a screen shot of my MAX config.

Thanks!!!!

NI MAX list of devices is indeed not the way it would typically look like.

Please also try resetting MAX database.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I went through that process and MAX looks exactly the same.  I also get the same error regarding the trigger.

Let us keep both topics separate, you already have posted about DAQmx triggering at https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Daqmx-triggering-issue/m-p/4250754

Please continue this topic only to fix the listing of PXI chassis and controller in NI MAX and continue discussing any trigger-related errors in the other topic.

Edit: If you don't want to fix the NI MAX listing of PXI Chassis and controller, you can close this topic and continue the trigger errors in the other post.
