How to reset PXI chassis/computer to factory settings and software versions?

How can I revert my PXI chassis and on-board computer to the original configuration that loaded on by the factory? In the process of uninstalling and reinstalling a few software packages (NI MAX, NI DAQmx), I am now getting an error that says "Unlicensed version" whenever I go to edit my Global Virtual Channels in MAX. When I go into License Manager and click on Activate Software, I get a popup that says "There are no licenses on your machine that need to be activated". I suspect that the pre-activated licenses that NI installed at the factory got deleted somehow? What can I try?

Tech Support will not help because I did not purchase software so I do not have a Support Contract, but the software all came preloaded onto my new hardware, so I am hoping to revert to that initial as-received condition for the whole machine.

Unfortunately, you've to rely on Windows restore for such a rollback feature.

You might have received a recovery disc as described in this article.

please post the dialog you get about unlicensed, the only licensed software would be LabVIEW, TestStand etc., and not the drivers or NI MAX.
