How to Configure Core B in MIL-STD-1553

Solved!
Go to solution

In MIL 1553 default core will be Core A/ Core 0, I want to perform the same operations with Core B, but I am not getting any information of Channels and Protocols in BTITST32 for CORE B.
as I am newbie to MIL Std, it would be very helpful if somebody helps.

I am using, MIL-STD-1553 2 Channel, (Multi-Function) 784800-01 LV-222-555-000

Hi there,

The LV-222-555-000 module only has one core configured for 1553 communication. The second core, while physically there, isn't a 1553 core. You can use it for IRIG syncing, but not 1553 communication. The -555 in that part number means core A is a multifunction 1553 core with 2 channels. The -000 means there are no 1553 channels on that core.

If you needed more 1553 channels, you'd need a different module, something like the LV-222-555-555 module or add another module to your setup.
