Hello CPUT,

The FP-1000 is a network interface module for the FieldPoint I/O system that is scheduled for obsolescence and was last available for purchase on July 1, 2011. FP-1000 connects up to nine Field Point I/O modules through either a RS232 or RS485 network. The PXI system is a PC based platform that utilizes a PCI bus.The PXI system can be used as a Windows based system or run as a Real Time Target. This knowledge base has an extensive explanation of the PXI chassis, controller, and modules.
