Current Loop Measurements Using PXIe-4492

Hey everyone,

I am using a PXIe-4492 Sound and Vibration module to measure shaft vibration. I have the 640B01, 4-20 mA Velocity Transmitter which uses a current loop output. I have been trying to look at the documentation for the PXIe-4492 to see if it is able to measure the 4-20 mA current output from the sensor, but have not been able to find anything concrete. I wonder if anyone could help out? I am pretty new to this so I apologize if this is a rookie question.

No - this is not a current loop instrument.

This instrument supports IEPE but not the current loop. IEPE is different in the case where the instrument forces a constant current through the sensor and the sensor varies the voltage at a constant current.
